My cinema begins on the page.

Writing is where I listen, where I meet images, memories, and shadows that ask for a form. I am a writer before I am a director: the film is the second breath of the story.

I tell the stories of marginal voices, fragile presences, lives suspended on a threshold. Mine is a poetics of intimate and civic resistance — a gaze that accepts the risk of listening, even when it is uncomfortable.

I seek a cinema shaped by human tension, difficult choices, and spaces that turn into inner landscapes.

I am drawn to stories born from real necessity, from conflicts that demand to be faced and transformed.

In the works I am developing, I pursue an even more essential language: visible and invisible confinements, erased memories, rituals, silences. A cinema that does not shout, but reveals. A cinema that welcomes the cracks.

For me, writing and filmmaking are the same gesture: to see, to listen, to bear witness.

Cinema is my way of caring for what must not fade.

Il mio cinema comincia sulla pagina.

Scrivere è il luogo dove ascolto, dove incontro immagini, memorie e ombre che chiedono una forma. Sono uno scrittore prima ancora che un regista: il film è il secondo respiro della storia.

Racconto voci ai margini, presenze fragili, vite sospese su una soglia. La mia è una poetica di resistenza intima e civile: uno sguardo che si assume il rischio dell’ascolto, anche quando è scomodo.

Cerco un cinema fatto di tensioni umane, di scelte difficili, di spazi che diventano paesaggi interiori.

Mi interessano storie nate da una necessità vera, da un conflitto che chiede di essere attraversato e restituito.

Nei lavori che sto sviluppando inseguo un linguaggio ancora più essenziale: reclusioni visibili e invisibili, memorie rimosse, rituali, silenzi. Un cinema che non urla, ma rivela. Un cinema che accoglie le crepe.

Per me, scrivere e filmare sono lo stesso gesto: vedere, ascoltare, testimoniare.

Il cinema è il mio modo di prendermi cura di ciò che non deve svanire.
